Meanwhile , The Chief Medical Director , CMD ,of the state owned University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital , UNIMEDTH , Dr Oluwole Ige has reportedly tested positive for Covid -19.
The CMD was said to have exhibited symptoms relating to Coronavirus and subsequently underwent the test which came out positive
A statement by the hospital’s director of administration , Mr Babatunde Adeeyo however says Dr Ige is currently being treated and is responding to the treatment positively.
The statement enjoins members of staff of the Teaching Hospital and the general public to continue to observe universal precautions against COVID-19.#
