Covid-19:PTF Tasks Youths on Sensitizing Nigerians

The Presidential Task Force, PTF on COVID-19 wants youths in the country to champion the course on sensitizing Nigerians about the pandemic. 

The Chairman of the PTF on COVID-19 and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha made the call at the PTF briefing in Abuja. 

While describing youths as the backbone of the nation’s development, Mr. Mustapha urged them to use their Youthful energy to galvanize the engagement of youths to significantly enhance peace building to promote social cohesion in the era of social distancing and collective fight against the pandemic.

Also, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama who resumed his attendance of the PTF briefing after Three weeks in isolation due to the COVID-19 expressed happiness on his recovery reiterating the reality of the Corona Virus Disease.

The Foreign Affairs Minister commended Healthcare Workers at the isolation centres extolling their high level of professionalism.

Mr. Onyeama urged Nigerians who develop symptoms of COVID-19 to test early as the virus was not a death sentence.
