Well-wishers at the sixty-fifth birthday of Chief Mutiat Ladoja, wife of a former governor of Oyo State, Alhaji Adewolu Ladoju have stressed the need for the influential people to prioritize the welfare of the physically challenged.

The birthday celebration and special programme for the physically challenged attracted people from all walks of life.

Speaking on the topic, ‘Nigeria at Sixty’: the Intersection of Disability and Nation Building, guest lecturer, Chief Imam, Oluyole Central Mosque, Alhaji Mudashiru Bada said supporting the less privileged would attract blessings from nature and God.

In the same vein, Founder Shafaudeen in Islam, Professor Sabbit Olagoke advocated an inclusive society which would give the less privileged including the physically challenged equally opportunity in the society.

In a remark, the celebrant, Chief Mutiat Ladoja expressed gratitude to God for making her witness the day.

She implored to always endeavour to lend a helping hand to the needy, noting that God would reward every good work.
