Farmers engaged in pepper production in Delta State say the venture has become more profitable following the introduction of high breed seedlings and mechanized farming made possible with the support of the state government and its partners.
They stated this when members of the project’s Steering Committee visited sites of several initiatives across the state as part of the concluding phase of the schemes.
Radio Nigeria’s Oghenero Eghweree reports that the farmers also appealed to the stakeholders to extend the intervention programs to enable them to master the art of modern pepper production.
