Two persons have been presumed dead while four others sustained injury in a lone accident that occurred around Fidiwo Axis along Lagos Ibadan expressway.
Spokesman of Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, TRACE, Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi said in Abeokuta that 7 individuals were involved in the incident.
Mr Akinbiyi explained that the driver of the space wagon bus marked YEE 202XA, who was on high speed, had lost control and skidded off the road into a swampy ditch killing two and injuring four while one person escaped unhurt.
Mr Akinbiyi noted that the people that sustained injury were taken to a private hospital in Ogere by officials of Federal Road Safety Corps while the two people presumed dead were deposited at a morgue in Ipara Remo.
While commiserating with the relatives of the deceased, the TRACE spokesman implored motorists to avoid excessive speed in view of its attendant consequences.
