Olufon, Oba Magbagbeola, Sues for Peace among Traders
The Olufon of Ifon Orolu kingdom, Oba AlMoruf Magbagbeola wants traders in the community to maintain peace and shun act that can lead to crisis.
Oba Magbagbeola, who stated this in his palace while resolving crisis between Hausa traders and Iyaloja in the community, called for harmonious relationship between the traders.
The monarch said no meaningful development could take place in an atmosphere of rancour and acrimony, hence the need for the traders to maintain peace.
He urged the traders to always abide the rules and guidelines of the market to avoid crisis.
Oba magbagbeola promised to provide enabling environment for business and trading activities to thrive in the ancient community.
In a remark, the Seriki Hausa, Alhaji Suleman and Iyaloja of Ifon Osun Alhaja Muliat Ajibade promised to ensure peaceful co-existence in the market and operate in line with guidelines of the market.
They however lauded the monarch for the peace move, saying it would go a long way in restoring permanent peace in the market.
