What could have been a serious accident was Monday night averted as the four occupants of a Galaxy Ford space bus with registration number, FST 232 XR narrowly escaped death in a road accident in Moniya.
The accident occurred on Moniya/Iseyin Road, near Moniya junction.
Eye witness told Radio Nigeria correspondent that the driver of the car lost control and ran over the median of the on-going rehabilitation of Moniya-Iseyin road.
Our correspondent gathered that the driver lost control as a result of being drunk and driving.
It took efforts of Passers-bye and other motorists to pull the bus down from the median.
The accident caused gridlock lock as vehicles, tricycles and motorcycles were put on hold for almost an hour.
As at the time of filing-in the report, the road had been cleared for thorough movement of vehicles.
