The pastor in charge of Gospel Faith Mission International, GOFAMINT, Akure, Pastor Babafemi Ilori has admonished Nigerians not to give up despite the level of insecurity and hardship currently ravaging the country but continue to pray for God’s intervention. 

Pastor Ilorin made this known at the National Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ Solemn Assembly organised by the national body of the association in every state of the federation to pray for peace in Nigeria.

The cleric said everything currently happening in the country calls for the intervention of God before things get out of hand.

He said the leaders also need prayers from their followers to take the country to promise land.

Pastor Ilori also pray for the security organisations in the country to overcome the siege of the bandits.

Similarly, the Chief Imam of Police Officer Mess Central Mosque, Alhaji Taofeek Akinola said true prayers and genuine sacrifice by leaders will change the ways things are going in the country. 

He urged Muslims faithful to continue to seek Allah’s face to overcome both the troubling economic situations and security challenges.
