APC Congress: We Demonstrated Unity Of Purpose- Osun Committee Chairman

The members of the National Committee on Local Government Congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, say with the peaceful manner with which congresses were held across the State, the party has demonstrated unity of purpose.
This is just as the chairman of the committee, Mr Gbenga Elegbeleye said there was no single parallel congress in the State.
Our who monitored there federal constituencies reports that members of executive of each local government were chosen during the congresses through consensus as was pronounced by the party leaders.
In all of the congresses monitored, motions were moved and seconded for the dissolution of caretaker committee of the party before the emergence of new party executive members through consensus.
Speaking in his hometown, Iragbiji Governor Gboyega Oyetola commended the screening committee for ensuring that proper candidates were selected.
Governor Oyetola admonished all the newly emerged party executive members at local government level to consider it as a call to service and tasked them not to betray the confidence reposed in them.
Elsewhere in Osogbo, the Senate Spokesperson, Ajibola Bashiru expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the process.
