Mistura Durosinoluwa from Kwara State has emerged the Champions of under 16 Chief Olusegun Obasanjo National Squash Championship.
Mistura defeated Delight Allison from Akwa Ibom state by three straight set in the final of the Championship played at the Olusegun Obasanjo Squash court in Abeokuta.

The championship put together by Ogun State Squash Association in collaboration with Nigeria Squash Federation was in honour of the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo for his contributions to the development of the game in the country.
The President, Nigeria Squash Federation, Mr Boye Oyerinde said the championship was part of the efforts to develop the game as well as ensure that athletes improve on their rankings.
Mr Oyerinde who acknowledged the efforts of the former President, chief Olusegun Obasanjo towards the development of the game also commended the support of the stakeholders towards the success of the Championship.
The Executive Chairman, Kwara Sports Commission, Mr Bola Mogaji who expressed satisfaction with the display of athletes said there was the need for governments at all levels to continue to organise competition at the grassroots level towards the discovery of young.
In a remark, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo who underscored the importance of engaging in sporting activities to promote healthy living 
Chief Obasanjo who said plans were on to ensure that Ogun state dominate the sport in the next few years commended the participating players for their sportsmanship display throughout the championship.
Mistura Durosinoluwa who won under 16 girls category and Dominion Ntupe from Lagos, the winner in the boys category attributed the victory to hard work.

Number two seeded player in the championship from Delta state, Busayo Olatunji defeated number one player, Rofiat Abdulazeez from Kwara state 11-8, 8-11, 11-3 and 11-7 to emerge winner in the senior women category.
Highpoint of the Championship was the presentation of trophies and medals to the winners.
