Dignitaries from all walks of life converged on Ibadan for the launch of a book titled “Grace Unabounded, My Life, My Service” written by the former president, Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, CCII, Chief Bayo Oyero.

The book which is the autobiography of Chief Oyero focused on the career experiences and contributions of the writer to Ibadanland.

Reviewing the book, pioneer Vice-Chancellor, Caleb University Imota, Ikorodu, Professor Rotimi Tayo, said the book, with four chapters and four hundred and twenty-six pages, gave details of Chief Oyero’s plights and achievements in his career.

Chairman on the occasion, former Pro-Chancellor, University of Lagos, Engineer Wale Babalakin who was thrilled by the insightful delivery of the book, said the content called for a rethink on the collapsing structure of education in the country.

In a remark, the Aare Mayegun of Ibadanland and former President-General, Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, CCII, Chief Adebayo Oyero explained that the book showcases reasons government should prioritize civil service which he described as the engine room of any government.

Dignitaries at the book launch included a two-time Minister of Industry, Chief Mrs. Onikepo Akande, Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor, Mr. Segun Ogunwuyi, present and past executives of Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, the Olubadan-in-Council, captains of industries and members of the academia.
