Words were not enough for the old students of Methodist Grammar School, Ibadan, 1994 set, to express their excitement at a reunion get-together held in Ibadan.

The old students gathered at an event centre at Bodija to reunite after almost 3 decades after graduation.

Many of them, clad in blue and white t-shirts, could not hide their excitement when they saw faces of schoolmates they had not seen for years.

In separate interviews, some of the old students, Dele Ibikunle, Lola Oluyemi and Ronke Adewole appreciated God for all He had done for them in the last 28 years.

Another old student, who is the Assistant Director, Finance, Radio Nigeria Ibadan Zonal Station, Mr Akin Amole said it was a thing of joy to reunite with old friends.

Chairman of the reunion committee, Mr Joseph Nwalaka, and the Vice-chairman, Mr Olukayode Oladipo said the essence of the programme was to reconnect with one another, as well as, to plan towards giving back to their school.

The reunion gathering afforded the old students the opportunity to wine and dine, as they also took time to dance to lovely tunes dished out by a disc jockey.
