Idris Abolaji Abiola-Ajimobi has declared his intention to run for the seat of state House of Assembly, Ibadan Southwest Constituency II, under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

Idris Ajimobi, a chartered accountant, who is the son of the two term former governor of Oyo State, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi
made the declaration today while meeting with the party leaders in his Constituency at the ALGON House, Ring-Road Ibadan.

“Today is a very historical day for me, my family and the people of Ibadan Southwest Constituency II.

“It has always been my childhood dream to serve humanity, a dreamt come to reality today as am presenting myself to serve the good people of of my constituency, Ibadan Southwest in particular, people of Ibadan and entire Citizenry in the State.
To God be the glory for the opportunity avails me to achieve this dream. Said idris.”

He emphasized further While speaking at the Event,

“I have come before you as your son, to plead for your support and prayers as I cannot do this alone.”

“I know a lot of us here knows my father and the unflinching legacy he left behind (May his soul rest in perfect peace), and the legacies of his father who served before him I.e (My grandfather Alhaji Ganiu Ajimobi) who also represented the good people of Ibadan South West Constituency II during Chief Awolowo Regime, we shouldn’t let this legacy die and I’ll like to build on these enduring Legacies while charting a course of my own to unite our people, bring the dividends of democracy closer and to the merit of our people.”

“On this note I announce today that I’ll be throwing my hat in the ring to contest for the membership of the Oyo State House of Assembly ( Ibadan South west II Constituency,) as your representative.”

“I put my thrust in God, and have confidence that
With your support and the grace of the Almighty Allah, we shall be victorious.
