Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has called on Christians to be steadfast in praying for the country’s unity and the peaceful and successful conduct of the 2023 general elections.
Governor Abiodun who made the call at the Annual Convention of the Foursquare Church held at Ajebo also stressed the need for Nigerians to play their part in politics by exercising their franchise during the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
The governor who also said with peace and unity, numerous challenges confronting the nation were surmountable, reiterated that his administration would continue to promote inter-religious tolerance.
In a sermon entitled “Encounter with the Supernatural”, the General Overseer of the Church, the Reverend Samuel Aboyeji said many Christians go through turbulent times because they fail to speak positive things that could sustain and retain divine encounters in their lives.
Reverend Aboyeji also said that present challenges confronting the nation should be handed over to God for divine encounter.
