The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has begun the distribution of sensitive materials for the Presidential, Senate and House of Representatives elections slated for Saturday.
The electoral materials include ballot papers, result sheets and BIVAS,
Addressing newsmen at the Central Bank of Nigeria in Akure, the venue for the distribution, the administrative secretary of INEC in Ondo State, Mr Oyekola Oyelami said INEC was committed to conducting a credibly free and fair election
Mr Oyelami explained that the materials were enough for the conduct of the election holding in the eighteen council areas of the state
Present at the distribution venue were the state organizing secretary for APC, Sir Charles Fagbohunka, Fredrick Akinuli of A.A, Dr Ajibola Falaiye of Accord Party, Dr Supo Ijabadeniyi of PDP, Prince Adesanya Olaoluwa of the Action People’s Party State chairman, who all expressed satisfaction over the electoral materials
The political representatives also pledged to ensure the safe distribution of the Electoral materials to their various destinations.
