The turn-out of fun-seekers at major recreation centres in Abeokuta, the State Capital of Ogun, for the Easter Monday celebration, is relatively low.

Radio Nigeria Correspondent who visited some of the centres including Olumo Rock, Cultural Centre, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, OOPL, and some Eateries, reports that, customers are very few, as the major roads are also very free of traffic.

In separate interviews, the fun-seekers appealed to the government to intensify efforts at proffering solutions to other challenges facing the country.

The respondents including Mr Samuel Adedeji, Sola Aina, and Mrs Judith Opara stated that, the chance of accessing the banking hall was still a terrible experience and as also, and they had to queue for many hours at ATM points, before getting the cash to take their family out for the Easter Monday celebration.

Emphasising the scarcity of cash, the people said, it had affected their socio-economic activities, and called on the government to compel banks to return to their former transaction activities, to enable people to spend their money without any hindrance.
