A committee of friends and families of the late staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Mr Albert Kehinde Fatinoye who was murdered alongside his wife and son are seeking a quick dispensation of justice.

They used the occasion of the one-year remembrance service of the gruesome murder of the family of three, which was allegedly orchestrated by their driver, Mr Lekan Adekanbi, to make the demand.

At the solemn ceremony held at the Christ Anglican Church, Iporo Ake, Abeokuta, the Vicar of the church, the Venerable Issac Abioye, described the death of the entire family as an unfortunate incident to the church and society, saying that they would be remembered for their services to God and humanity.

Also, the Chairman of the planning committee of the remembrance, Mr Sanmi Ogundele, promised that a hall and blocks of shops would be constructed in memory of the late Fatinoye family as part of efforts to immortalise the deceased. 

In a remark, a younger brother of the late Kehinde Fatinoye, Mr Zacheus  Fatinoye, appealed to the relevant arms of the government, especially the judiciary, to expedite action in the delivery of justice on the suspects awaiting trial over the crime. 

The remembrance service featured prayers for the family and the repose of the souls of the dead. 

Late Albert Kehinde Fatinoye, his wife, Dorcas Oluwabukola and son, Oreoluwa were murdered in their home on the first of January, 2023. 

It will be recalled that seven suspects had been arrested in connection with the murder and they had been remanded at Ibara and Oba Correctional Centres pending the conclusion of the case against them.
