The management of Shootings Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, (3SC) has debunked owing its players their salaries and match bonuses.

Executive Chairman of the club, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan said this while addressing newsmen at the club’s office, Jericho GRA, Ibadan.


Hon. Olaniyan, while speaking on the performance of 3SC during the first stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League, where the club played 18 matches with 6 wins, 5 draws and 7 losses, promised that the team would improve in the second stanza of the league.
He said the quest to secure a continental ticket remained paramount to the board as well as the coaching crew and players.

Honourable Olaniyan, said the club has made an official complaint to the relevant authority on the unprofessional conduct of Joseph Ogabor, the central referee of the match between 3SC and Enyimba FC last Sunday in Ibadan.

On activities of the club’s supporters, Honourable Olaniyan appealed to them to always imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and not damage public or people’s properties.

He therefore, appealed to all stakeholders of the club to continue to support aspirations of the team to clinch a continental ticket this season.
