The welfare of members of Staff in an organization is sacrosanct for effective service delivery and overall well-being.

The Zonal Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan Zonal Station, Mr Dominic Mokikan made the assertion during a staff forum held at Studio One, Broadcasting House, Dugbe.

Mr Mokikan, who explained that staff welfare was paramount noted that a welfare Committee had been set up to fashion out an improved welfare package for workers.

He enjoined workers of the corporation to envole new ideas and skills that could assist committee of management to achieve its mandate of sustaining the flagship of broadcasting.

The Zonal Director also charged them to redouble their efforts on ways to improve the Internally Generated Revenue of the station.

Mr Mokikan, while urging the station’s workforce to be dedicated to duties, hinted that efforts were ongoing to overcome challenges confronting the station.

Two members of staff, Mr Joshua Ogunleye and Mr Oluwakayode Banjo, described the staff forum as an avenue to share ideas on ways to move the station forward and equally pledged their commitment to work.
