Ladoja Circular Road: Oyo to Carry out Land Ownership Re-verification

Oyo State Government is set to begin the re-verification exercise for land owners/ claimants affected by the acquisition of lands on Segment I of Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road from Alago to Ajota.

The Monitoring Team will carry out the exercise on the Payment of Compensation to Land Owners /Claimants affected on the axis.

The venue of the re-verification is Islamic High School, Basorun, Orita Basorun, Ibadan.

According to the Monitoring Team led by CP Sunday Odukoya (rtd), the re-verification exercise would begin on Sunday, 15 December 2024 by 10 a.m. and conclude on 22nd  December 2024.

The Team informed land owners/claimants to come along with the relevant documents such as

 Local government identification certificate/residence permit for non-indigenes of the state, Land purchase agreement and National Identification Number (NIN) 

The others are two current passport photographs and a Letter of power of attorney from the Ministry of Justice (for proxy purposes).

Also required are bank details, a survey plan of the property/farmland, a photograph of the property/farmland, an affidavit from the court/Ministry of Justice, and two passport photographs of the guarantor /surety’s means of identification.

The Monitoring Team added that the exercise would be done in batches, urging claimants to go to the Ministry of Lands on Friday, 13 December 2024 to check for the batch they fall into.
