The birth of Jesus Christ is the ultimate expression of divine love to humanity, as Governor Adeleke of Osun state urges Christians to continue spreading God’s love during this season.
In a Christmas message issued through his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the Governor noted that, the festive season is the time of reflection, gratitude, and compassion, while calling on residents to remember the less privileged in society.
Governor Adeleke said, Christmas is a time for families, friends and communities to rejoice together, adding that the season gives room for kindness, peace, and unity across the state, as collective spirit of the people of Osun have remained a source of inspiration to his administration.
He also expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and the opportunity to serve the state, while appreciating the people for their patience, prayers, and commitment to the development of the state.
Governor Adeleke prayed for peace, joy, and abundant blessings for families during the Christmas celebration, expressing optimism that the coming year would usher in greater prosperity for the state.
