Schools Resume for Second Term in Oyo State

As both Public and Private schools in Oyo State resume for the second term academic work today, all schools in Ibarapa also complied.

Despite the heavy blowing of harmattan students were seen as early as 6.00 am tracking down or joining “Okada” Commercial motorcycle to their various schools.

In Nawair Deen School 1, Ajegunle Igboora pupil’s attendance were very few but all the teachers were met on the post.

A teacher Supervisor, Mrs Adewuyi Kosenat who came to check the teacher’s punctuality said the weather condition was likely to affect the pupil’s attendance.

In Igboora Grammar School students and teachers were met on assembly ground with a highly encouraging population.

Speaking with Radio Nigeria Correspondent, the Principal of the school Mr Oyewole Olusola said both the teachers and students are ready for teaching and learning as there is a big turn up of students.

A senior student of the school Miss Salaudeen Amirat said the students are ready to cooperate with the teachers as both WAEC and NECO examinations are fast approaching.
