Cooperative society has been
identified as a potent source to tackle poverty in the country.
A former president of Federal
Ministry of Defence Cooperative Society, Mr isiaka Gbadamosi stated this at a
workshop organized by Radio Nigeria Ibadan Cooperative Society.
Speaking on the topic ‘cooperative :
the Catalyst for Public Servants Economic Development’, Mr gbadamosi urged
those in attendance to be in one accord as unity could help them build an
empire and make poverty a thing of the past.
President FRCN Ibadan Cooperative Society, Mr Akinjide Akinsola said the
workshop was borne out of the need to enlighten members on what a cooperative
society should look like.
Participants at the Workshop described the program as timely and full of
enlightenments.
They urged the organizers to continue to venture into programs that would
benefit the members.
