Shops at Ogunpa Oyo market in Ibadan were today under lock and key following the death of three shop owners who lost their lives while travelling to Ibadan from Aba where they went to purchase goods.

Radio Nigeria correspondent reports that customers were stranded as they roamed the market without anyone to attend to them.

One of the traders, in an interview, said the news of the death of the traders was a rude shock to them.

The chairman shoes and bags sellers also died in the ghastly accident and since been buried according to Islamic rites.

Meanwhile, traders selling plastics and other kitchen utensils held a three-hour prayer for the repose of the deceased.
