Social distancing and ban on whatever gatherings are part of the measures adopted by the government to deal with the Coronavirus pandemic.

Sports reporter Isaac Afolabi, however, reports that since the partial lockdown began in Ondo State and all sporting activities cancelled, soccer lovers in Akure the Ondo State capital have devised means of gathering in open places such as motor parks, empty plots on streets and deserted roads to play football.
