In a bid to control the spread of COVID-19 in Ogun state, Muslim faithful were unable to gather at the Eid ground yesterday to perform the usual two Rakah prayer.
The roads in Abeokuta the Ogun state capital were deserted with the presence of security men and women enforcing the lockdown.
Only few vehicles on essential duties were seen on the roads while residents stayed in their various houses.
It is also expected that the residents perform their religious activities individually as part of the measures to stop the spread of Coronavirus in the state.
