Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has inaugurated the state Business Environment Council in the bid to promote a business-friendly environment in the state.
Inaugurating the council at the Executive Chamber Oke Mosan Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun explained that the council was expected to make necessary recommendations towards removing bottlenecks in the process of doing business.
He expressed hope that the council would introduce standard reforms and initiatives in line with global best practices to ensure sustainable reform that would be conducive for investors.
Governor Abiodun said his administration was committed to improving all sectors of the state’s economy and support investment promotion through structured and dedicated approach for overall development.
In a remark, the Chairman of the Council, and Commissioner for Finance, Mr Dapo Okubadejo emphasized that the ultimate objective of the council was to make the state a preferred destination of choice for potential investors.
