The crisis rocking the Osun state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP today deepened as the embattled Chairman of the party, Mr. Soji Adagunodo resumed office on the strength of securing a court order that reinstated him

Mr. Adagunodo arrived at the state Secretariat of the Party in Osogbo on Friday afternoon in company of some members of the party.

Addressing journalists, Mr. Adagunodo said consultations with some party leaders including members of the Board of Trustees had commenced to resolve internal wrangling among members.

The National Leadership of the PDP had removed Mr. Soji Adagunodo and replaced him with Mr. Sunday Bisi as the chairman of the party following allegations of high-handedness leveled against him.

Reacting to the development, the newly appointed chairman, Mr Sunday Bisi described the action of Mr Adagunodo as an invasion.

In a statement in Osogbo, Mr. Bisi said Mr Adagunodo who had earlier acted within the ambit of the law by going to court was wrong to have suddenly changed means by invading the party secretariat with armed thugs.
