Cleric Advocates Alms Giving

Pastor Adeolu Afolabi of Revealed Word of God Global Ministry, Ogbomoso has emphasized the essence of almsgiving among Christians.

The cleric made the call during a sermon at the church premises.

Pastor Afolabi said parts of mandates of Christians was to give out to the needy, noting that Christ, the reason for Christianity was a giver.

“The Lord our God is a giver, so also we should learn from that. Not only that we should give,it should become our lifestyle.Everybody always likes to be given . However when we give to others,we are going to receive and going to be blessed “He said

On the spate of kidnappings, pastor Afolabi urged Christians to be prayerful, Vigilant and Jettison selfishness.

While calling on the government at all levels to be up and doing in the area of security,the cleric reminded people who engaged in nefarious acts of indiscriminate kidnapping and killings that in no distant time they would get paid in their own coin .

He urged Nigerians to imbibe Christ like attitude to make the nation live in peace
