Federal Road safely Corps, FRSC, Oyo state sector command has deployed about two thousand personnel to ensure visibility on highways during Eid-el-kabir celebration. 

This is contained in a statement signed in Ibadan by FRSC Public Education, Mr Inyama Chijioke. 

The sector, Mrs Uche Chukwurah says apart from the deployed officers, twenty three patrol vehicles and one tow truck will also be available to achieve a hitch free Eid-el-kabir festival. 

Mrs Chukwurah noted that the special patrol of the CORPS to all the traffic prone areas will begins today 17th till 20th of this month to ensure free flow of traffic on all major corridors in the State. 

The FRSC boss in Oyo state says the command has deployed logistics and other equipment such as heavy duty tow truck, breathalyzers, extracting machines as well as presence of 24 hours to ensure safety during and after the celebration.

Mrs Chukwurah states further that FRSC will sustain its aggressive motor park public enlightenment campaign across the state to ensure maximum compliance with traffic rules and regulations  for a safe and memorable celebrations amidst COVID-19 pandemic and other Security situations. 

The FRSC boss adds that the CORPS will apprehend vehicles caught in the act of overloading especially during the celebrations and failure of having all the necessary particulars.
