Oyo state government is to recruit seven thousand secondary school teachers.

The Chairman, Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, Pastor Akinade Alamu disclosed this while briefing State House Correspondent at the Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan.

Pastor Alamu explained that two thousand non-teaching staff and one thousand six hundred security guards and night watch would also be employed into the service.

He said application forms for teaching and non-teaching staff into the state service should be obtained free of charge by prospective applicants across designated zones in the state.

The chairman explained that in Ibadan, the forms could be freely obtained at the two educational zones as well as the state secretariat, while other interested applicants not residing in Ibadan should visit the various educational zones in the state.

Other existing vacancies in the Public Secondary Schools include: Assistant Executive Officer (General Duties), Assistant Executive Officers (Accounts), Secretaries/Typists, Clerical officers, Day/Night Watchmen.

The application form which begins today 11th February closes, 24th February this month.
