Akirun of Ikirun, Oba Abdul-Rauf Olayiwola Adedeji has joined his ancestors.
Oba Adedeji, who ascended the throne of his forefathers in 1991, died at the age of 78.
The cause of his death is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
Before the monarch’s demise, uncertainties over Oba Rauf Adedeji’s health condition had hung over the ancient town of Ikirun, headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun.
The monarch was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Osogbo capital of Osun State yesterday.
