Ogun State Governor., Prince Dapo Abiodun, has sworn in Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun as the 19th Head of Service with a call on him to provide leadership that will strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of the public service.
Speaking at the ceremony held at the Executive Chamber, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun urged the new Head of Service to be a role model to other Civil servants in the state.
While pointing out that the selection process was based on merit as well as principles of fairness and equity, Governor Abiodun, described the new Head of Service as a dedicated and committed civil servant.
The Governor also pledged that his administration would continue to create the necessary ambience for more developmental programmes towards promoting socio-economic activities in the State.
In his acceptance speech, Mr Fagbohun said that the state civil service would complement the government’s efforts by adopting global best practices
to enhance overall development in the state.
