Osun State Government has reiterated its commitment towards inclusive governance, especially with the Youth across the State.

The State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke gave the assurance while addressing the #EndBadGovernance protesters who stormed the state Secretariat, Abeere.

Represented by the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, The Governor who commended the Youth Groups for peacefully comporting themselves from the beginning of the nationwide protest promised to table their demands to the Federal Government at the next National Economic Council, NEC meeting.

Responding as regards Government efforts to improve the Agriculture sector, The Governor said his administration has purchased new tractors to support mechanised farming system aimed at boosting food production for Residents of the State.

He urged them to set up a committee among themselves as representatives who would hold meetings with the state government on how the youth could also benefit from the government.

Responding on the delay in the distribution of Palliatives from the Federal Government, Senator Adeleke attributed the delay to the fact that, the state is yet to receive the full consignment and assured that as soon as it is received the palliatives would be distributed accordingly.

Radio Nigeria Correspondent reports that the Protesters took off from Olaiya Junction through Ogo- Oluwa Area to the Onward Area down the State Secretariat and returned to Olaiya the terminating point.

Adewusi told the protesters, “On behalf of the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, I want to thank you for being peaceful since the protest commenced.

Deputy Governor “Among your demands to the state government during our last meeting, was the issue of bursary payment for Osun State students. I’m happy to tell you that all Osun Indigenes in Law school have collected their bursary.

“Also, on Agriculture, the state government has punched new tractors, and I want to urge you to set up a committee among yourselves so that you can have meetings with the state government on how the youth can also benefit from the government. Prince Adewusi
