NDLEA Discovers Cannabis Farmland

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA says, the organization has discovered a vast expanse of land used for illegal cultivation of cannabis sativa, commonly known as ‘igbo’ at Oko community in Aniocha South area of Delta State.

The State Commander of the NDLEA, Dennis Obiefule, stated this in Asaba, the state capital, after a raid on the location, noting a thousand kilograms of the product have so far been seized from the farms after destruction.

Oghenero Eghweree who witnessed the operation reports that a combined team of the NDLEA, Civil Defense Corps and vigilante numbering about a hundred participated in the mission.
