A former governor of Borno State, Alhaji Ali-Modu Sheriff has met with former president, Olusegun Obasanjo in a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Library residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The former governor while speaking after the meeting which lasted for over forty minutes, disclosed that his engagement with the former president was private.
The former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP also declined to speak on critical issues turning down responses to all questions.
Though, his visit may not be unconnected with fast approaching 2023 general election as he expressed the desire of his party to win at the poll.
