Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has sworn in Mr. Kehinde Onasanya as the 20th Head of service in the state.

Speaking at the inauguration held at the Executive Chamber, Governor’s office in Okemosan, Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun explained that the event was another testament to the commitment of the current administration towards the development of the state public service.

The Governor urged the newly inaugurated head of service to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors in ensuring the standard of integrity and professionalism among the workforce.

Governor Abiodun, while describing Mr Onasanya as a man of impeccable character with a track record in the state civil service, said his appointment was an act of God as he was selected among a large number of people who also qualified to occupy the position. 

He charged Mr Onasanya to see the new appointment as a call to service urging him to put his vast experience into play towards building a formidable and enviable public service in the state and the country at large.

The state helmsman assured that his administration would not renege in fulfilling all his promises to the workers by providing a conducive environment that promotes effectiveness and proficiency in the state public service. 

Earlier in a remark, Mr Kehinde Onasanya lauded the governor for the various programs which have helped to enhance the performances of the workers promising that he would partner with the various stakeholders in the realisation of the five pillars, ISEYA mantra, of the current administration

Promising to continue the good works started by his predecessors, the new head of service urged the workers to join hands with him in building a virile public service that everyone would be proud of.

The inauguration was attended by dignitaries, including members of the state executive, government functionaries, traditional rulers, and past heads of service, among others.
