The entire Atoyebi Royal Family of Ogbomoso has announced the death of the former Executive Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Ibadan Zonal Station and Lagos Operations, Prince Atilade Atoyebi.

A statement by the family of the deceased, says the ex-FRCN Director, veteran journalist, media consultant, and former executive chairman of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, BCOS, died on Saturday 18th this year at a private hospital in Lagos after a brief illness.

In his reaction, Director, FRCN Lagos Operations, Mr. Yinka Amosun described Prince Atoyebi as a loving, caring human being and a great boss in his time, whose vacuum would never be filled.

Also speaking, Zonal Director, FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station, Alhaji Mohammed Bello said the news about Prince Atoyebi’s death was shocking and prayed that God would forgive him all his shortcomings.

Prince Atilade Atoyebi who died at the age of 72 years is survived by wife, three children, and grandchildren.

The family of Late Onpetu of Ijeruland, Oba Solomon Ladeji Atoyebi the second in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area, Oyo State have announced the home call of Prince Atilade Atoyebi, retired Executive Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Veteran Journalist, Media Consultant & Former Executive Chairman, Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS)
He answered the home call in the early hours of today, Saturday; 18th January, 2020 at a private hospital in Lagos.
Prince Atilade Atoyebi is survived by three children, grand children, his wife; Layide and older brother; Prince David Gbadebo Ladeji; Former Secretary to the Oyo State Government.
The burial arrangement for Prince Atilade Atoyebi who died this morning at the age of 72 will be announced later by the family.
