Remains of a foremost religious leader and two-time presidential candidate of National Action Council, NAC, Dr. Olapade Agoro have been laid to rest at his residence in Oluyole Apata, Ibadan.
Earlier in a sermon during the funeral, held at Merciful Church of Christ, Baba Aladura, Thomas Daudu had implored mankind to always do the will of God, noting that all men would witness death which was an inevitable end.
The cleric said the departed religious leader had fulfilled his mission on earth, urging all Christians to strive to accomplish God’s purpose in life.
A son to the deceased, Mr Temilola Agoro described his father as a legend and a father to many.
Mr Agoro also appreciated friends, family and other well-wishers for standing by the Agoro family during the funeral.
Dr. Olapade Agoro died on Sunday, November 1, 2020 during a protracted illness.
Aged 77, Dr Agoro is survived by wives, children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Until his death, he was a friend of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN, Ibadan National Station.
