Residents of Oke Owode Community in Ogbomoso, Oyo state have described the former Executive Director of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Ibadan Zonal Station, Prince Atilade Ola Atoyebi as a peacemaker that would be greatly missed in the community.
They said this at the Lying-in-state of the deceased at his residence, Rockwall House, Oke Owode, Ogbomoso.
According to two of the residents, Alhaji Razaq Adekunle and Mrs. Aderonke Adegboyega, Prince Atoyebi was a very humble man, who promoted peaceful co-existence in the society.
Also speaking, an automobile engineer who had worked with the late executive director for thirty eight years, Mr. Akindele Olakunde, said Prince Atoyebi was a man who loved progress.
