The remains of a one-time Assistant Director, News and Current Affairs, Radio Nigeria, Chief Kolawole Oluseye have been laid to rest with a call on Christians to be more dedicated to the service of God and humanity.
The Bishop of the Remo Central, the Right Reverend Joel Akinola made the call at the funeral service for the late Oluseye held at the Methodist Church, Ode Remo Circuit, Ode Remo Ogun State
In a sermon entitled “I shall live ” the Right Reverend Akinola enjoined wealthy individuals in the country to channel their resources to the spread of the Gospel of Christ to every nook and cranny of the society.
The bishop who urged Nigerians to desist from ill-gotten resources reminded them of being answerable to their creator on the last day and tasked people to always trust in God not minding the situation of the country at present.
Describing the late Oluseye as a dedicated servant of God, the right Reverend Akinola advised all to live a life worthy of emulation.
The Eldest son of the deceased,Dr Sunday Oluseye said his father was a disciplinarian to the core, an integrity personified with a good sense of humour.
Late Kolawole Oluseye had served in various capacities including assistant Director, News and Current Affairs,Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria in 1989 and also Member, Knight of Charles Wesley, Ibadan Chapter and Baba Ijo, Methodist Church, Oke-Ado Ibadan, Oyo State.
Late Oluseye who was born on September 1929, died at the age of ninety-four and was survived by children, grand children and great-grand children.
