The Olola ruling house in Ejigbo local government of Osun state has described as unfounded, a purported report being circulated in some quarters of the community that the reign of the new Olola of Ola, Oba Johnson Ajiboye has brought unrest and disunity in the town.

Speaking at a news conference in the town, the head, Olola ruling house, Prince Dauda Ibrahim described the report as the handwork of some mischievous elements who are bent on soiling the good name which the community has earned in Osun state.

Prince Ibrahim noted that ever since the enthronement of Oba Ajiboye, various sectoral developments have been witnessed in the town.

He called on those who were spreading falsehood and unfounded reports about Ola town to desist from such.

Similarly, Secretary, Molebi Olola ruling house, Prince Oluwole Ajao said the town had never for once witnessed any disorderliness since the installation of Oba Ajiboye. 

Prince Ajao maintained that Ola was an ancient town in Osun state which has maintained peace and tranquillity over the years, and would continue to live in peace.

While appreciating the State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for his love for the town, the Olola ruling house called on all the residents to continue to go about their lawful businesses, noting that peace and harmony will not cease in Ola town.

It was reported that one of the houses in the town who claimed to be entitled to the throne had written the state government to nullify the installation of the present Olola of Ola Oba Johnson Ajoboye, claiming that his reign has brought unrest in the town.
