Adeleke Declares Monday Work-Free for Islamic New Year

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has declared Monday 8th July, 2024 a public holiday to celebrate Islamic New Year Hijirah 1446AH.

This is contained in a statement by Commissioner for Home Affairs, Mr. Rasheed Aderibigbe.

The governor in the statement appeals to all Islamic faithful to use the period of the celebration to pray for peace, progress and development of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole.
