The Ondo State Commissioner for Health, Dr Wahab Adegbenro has disclosed that the result of the suspected case for Coronavirus in the state is negative.

Dr Adegbenro told newsmen in Akure that following the outcome of the test, the State was still maintaining a coronavirus-free status.

The commissioner said there was then no cause for panic but promised that all hands would be on deck to forestall its outbreak in the state.

He appealed to stakeholders to maintain personal and environmental hygiene, wash hands regularly with soap and water, use hand Sanitizers and avoid being in a crowded environment.

Dr Adegbenro added that the state government was also engaging religious groups and leaders on the need to avoid crowded services as part of preventive measures against the deadly virus.
