Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has called on the former members of the Allied People’s Movement, APM, who recently dumped the party to join All Progressives Congress to be loyal to the party and join hands with his administration to move the state forward.

Governor Abiodun made the call while receiving former seven members of  APM led by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly Mr Olakunle Oluomo at the Executive Chambers,  Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The governor explained that in the spirit of being fair and inclusive his administration did not discriminate against the former members of the APM and other members of the house from other political parties. 

In separate remarks, the former members of APM noted that they were not forced to dump their former party for the ruling All Progressives Congress, but they opted to join the moving train of development of Governor Abiodun led administration.

Earlier, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr Olakunle Oluomo had said that the next agenda of the House was to ensure that all hands were on deck to move the state forward, adding that more cooperation was needed for overall development of the state.
