Sabo market in Oyo town has become a Mecca of sorts following a mysterious scene experienced in the area.
An ancient tree which is believed to be over three hundred years old was said to have been pulled down by Monday evening rainfall which was accompanied with thunderstorms.
According to a source,the tree killed about four people who were trapped under it while another person survived with minor injury.
The source told Radio Nigeria that all efforts to cut off the branches of the fallen tree on Monday night were not successful as the machines were not responding.
The source who explained that the branches were cut with cutlass in the early hours of today Tuesday said the fallen tree which had been cut had mysteriously erected itself.
Another account has it that the big tree which is about one hundred and fifty years old was planted by a sango worshipper long ago.
Meanwhile, report has it that people in their thousands have continued to storm the scene to catch a glimpse of the mysterious situation.
