Commercial motorcyclists called okada riders in Oyo town have been warned to desist from overloading their bikes with passengers or risk facing prosecution.
Federal Road Safety Commission zonal Commanding Officer, Oyo, Osun Ondo states, Mr. Godwin Oghagaogene gave the warning in Oyo while speaking with Radio Nigeria correspondent.
He described the attitude of the cyclists who carry up to 8 passengers, especially school children as an unfortunate situation.
He decried the dangers posed by the riders to other road users each time they made attempt to escape arrest.
Oghagaogene, who is an assist corps marshal, also appealed to motorists to stop been hostile to his men on the road.
