A delegation from the Military Headquarters, Abuja has visited Ekiti state over the establishment of three command Secondary Schools in the state.

The Team led by the Director of Personnel in the Military, Major General Julius Oni was in the state to ascertain the level of preparedness and facilities in order to ensure that the schools conform to standard and military set goals.

Addressing the Team, Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi said the establishment of the military schools in the state was a confirmation of several long-term appeals for military presence in the state.

Otunba Egbeyemi who maintained that education remained the main industry of Ekiti State, assured them of the support of both the government and people of the state.

Earlier, the leader of the Team, Major General Julius Oni noted that the Team had visited Isan, Ijero and Ikere Ekiti to examine the sites and other facilities in conformity with the military education standards, and their conduciveness to teaching and learning.
