Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has not received any court order restraining him from further action concerning the newly appointed First Class Emirs of Rano, Karaye, Gaya and Bichi Emirates.

This was contained in a media statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Malam Abba Anwar, and was made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano.

The letter explains that the notification of appointment were written from the office of the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji dispatched to the concerned Emirs.

The new Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II, Emir of Rano Alhaji Tafida Abubakar Ila, Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero and the Emir of Gaya, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulkadir.

Letters of appointment have been issued to the Emirs since yesterday and they have returned the acknowledged copies, the event for today was just for felicitation.
