Iran Gives Reassurances over Nuclear Arms
Iran is willing to give reassurances on not seeking nuclear arms and accept changes to its 2015 nuclear accord with world power if the United States returns to the deal and lifts sanctions.
A government spokesman, Ali Rabiei, told state TV
The current development comes on the heels of comments by French President Emmanuel Macron that conditions were now in place for the US and Iranian leaders at the United Nations, but that it remained on decision by both countries on whether to move forward.
Macron made this known to reporters after holding separate meetings with US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
United States and Iran had been at loggerhead since the unilateral decision by President Trump to pull out of the 2015 nuclear deal.
